Good work. Also, great way to power though some shaky die rolls there in the middle of the game. I've been watching a lot of your reports... how do you feel about the C'Tan? I haven't used mine in a long time because I have been running the OL in a command barge which ends up around 255pts.

Feb 22, 2012 - Kharn has an invul save. I don't like TBs too much, way too expensive in most cases and if Wraiths are close enough to use it they will be in combat soon, hence I prefer melee gear like the Whip Coils.

Feb 23, 2012 - I have used something similar to this list in battle before. A lot of the time, my overlord never needs to use his phase shifter, or always fails it when he does which is rare in the first place.I took it away, gave the regular lord MSS, and gave the overlord the sempiternal weave (2+ armor) and made him a phaeron. So the immortals, are relentless so they can rapid fire and assault with their 2 warscythes and 2 MSS to ensure victory.(i'm using these points with the 5 points you have extra.Thanks

Feb 23, 2012 - Battled new crons for the first in a tourney saturday to a draw with shooty orks. He was a very good player (1500 pt x3 ann. barges, x2 Co barges, 30 immortals and a triarch with 19 scarab sworms to boot. Lost my wagons early to fly-over canoe attacks. Highlight of the game, he charges 13 tank bustas with 10 scarab swarms...my last three orks ahd two tank hammers and a powerklaw, which insta-kileld 9 bases and fearless killed the last. Game ends in tie. Really like the crons, very well balanced.

Feb 23, 2012 - Good. I was a CSM player myself for the biggest part of my career as a tabletop gamer and even I am glad to see that Necrons can hold their own against CSM. It was such a horrible mismatch with the two previous codices. Every single game I played against Necrons in 4th edition ended with a phaseout in round 2. (My standard list was a Blood Thirster, a winged Demon Prince, a unit of Bloodletters summoned by infiltrating Havocs with 4 Plasma Guns, a Dreadnought with Plasma Cannon and 2 Defilers.)
