Feb 22, 2012 - where were these cars going to after Enola?

UltimateRailfanner Says:

Feb 22, 2012 - the 3 engines and a few cars went back west

Feb 22, 2012 - - Someone replied to my email that they "heard that this 956 was run to test out the new ECP braking system that was apparently installed on the OCS fleet this winter. Not sure if they got to the entire fleet or just part of it". And another replied "probably getting wheels turned on the coaches in Enola for upcoming trips". I was wondering the same thing. Not really sure why some were left behind.

Feb 22, 2012 - The cars left at Enola were indeed there for wheel true.

Feb 22, 2012 - It's for ECP braking installation. The F9s weren't able to make the trip.

Feb 22, 2012 - - Had the privalage of talking to the Enola Yard Master (very nice gentleman if I may add) today at COVE (PT 116). And yes - they are turning the wheels so the passengers enroute to the Masters this spring have a smooth ride! LOL

lrichardm Says:

Feb 22, 2012 - Of course I knew that already....
